Encircle Community Services is seeking an experienced and influential Communications & Engagement Business Partner to lead our communications, advocacy, media and stakeholder engagement functions. About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide strategic leadership across communications, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, media relations and fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with senior leaders and external stakeholders to strengthen Encircle's profile, influence policy discussions and champion community issues that matter.

Key areas of responsibility include:

✅ Strategic communications and advocacy

✅ Media relations and public affairs

✅ Government and stakeholder engagement

✅ Organisational reputation and thought leadership

✅ Leadership of communications and fundraising functions

✅ Preparation of executive communications, submissions and briefing papers





✅ Identification of opportunities to influence social policy and community outcomes

About You

You are a confident relationship builder and strategic thinker who thrives in a quick-paced and purpose-driven environment.

You will bring

- Significant experience in communications, media, public affairs, advocacy or stakeholder engagement

- Demonstrated success building relationships with government, funding bodies and community stakeholders

- Exceptional written communication skills, including media releases, submissions and executive correspondence

- Strong leadership and people management capability

- Experience influencing public awareness, stakeholder decision-making and organisational outcomes
- A genuine passion for community services and social impact

Essential Requirements

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Public Policy, Political Science or related discipline

- Current Driver's Licence

- National Police Check & Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
