About the role

As the Communications & Engagement Business Partner, you will lead communications, advocacy, engagement and fundraising functions for Encircle Community Services. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role includes leading and developing a team of three communications and engagement professionals. You will shape organisational strategy, elevate the organisation's profile across the community, influence key stakeholders, and help drive meaningful social impact across the Moreton Bay region.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the development and delivery of strategic communications initiatives
- Manage media relations and public affairs activities
- Build and maintain relationships with government, community and funding stakeholders
- Oversee organisational branding, reputation and advocacy campaigns
- Lead fundraising and community engagement initiatives
- Prepare executive communications, reports, submissions and strategic briefings
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to a dedicated team of three communications professionals
- Partner closely with the CEO and Executive Team to achieve strategic objectives

About you

- Experience in communications, public affairs,



stakeholder engagement, advocacy or media
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing staff
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capability
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a complex environment
- A passion for community services and creating positive social outcomes
