Laffos Bar and Pizzeria is located in Caneland Central Shopping Centre in Mackay QLD 4740. Our family-owned business with family values offers multiple full time permanent positions for Chefs/Cooks for a 40hr working week with any overtime paid.

Market-competitive salary + Super/per An. Paid Weekly, with room for growth.

Chefs duties will include:

- Planning menus and Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
- Establishing food and labor costs
- Ordering food supplies
- Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
- Enforcing hygiene regulations
- Select and train staff

Cooks duties will include:
- Food preparation and sanitation
- Cooking according to exact recipes and standards
- Seasoning and portioning food




- Proficiency with using cooking tools and equipment

- Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery with minimum 1 year of experience in a fast paced kitchen
