A leading bank is seeking to hire an experienced Corporate DCM origination qualified for its Sydney team
This is a client facing origination seat, not a syndicate role, although you’ll work closely with the Syndicate desk. You’ll cover a broad list of corporate clients, with early ownership of relationships in a lean team where you’ll work directly with senior decision makers.
What you’ll do
- Originate and execute debt capital markets transactions for corporate clients
- Build and run client relationships, bringing funding ideas and market insight
- Work with Syndicate, Sales, Credit and coverage colleagues across the full transaction lifecycle
- Present confidently to corporate treasury teams and senior stakeholders
- Work independently, taking responsibility for your clients and your pipeline
About you
- Around 6 to 7 years’ experience in corporate DCM origination, or in DCM syndicate with a genuine interest in moving into coverage
- Strong technical and credit skills, matched by an outgoing, commercially minded, client focused style
- Comfortable in a demanding, high performance envir
- onment
- Full working rights required
