Fortitude Protective Services is expanding its corporate security operations and seeking dedicated, professional Security Officers to join our growing team across premium corporate locations throughout Sydney.

We are offering ongoing full-time opportunities for reliable security professionals who value consistent employment, structured rosters and the chance to develop their careers within the corporate security sector.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

- Control Room Operators / Controllers
- Rover / Mobile Patrol Officers

THE ROSTER – FULL TIME AVAILABILITY ESSENTIAL Our corporate sites operate on a structured rotating shift pattern:

2 WEEKS OF DAY SHIFTS

2 WEEKS OF NIGHT SHIFTS

CONTINUOUS ROTATION

Successful applicants must be available to work the full rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays when required.

CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR / CONTROLLER

As a Control Room Operator, you will play an important role in maintaining site security, monitoring security systems and coordinating responses to incidents and emergencies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Operating and monitoring CCTV and security surveillance systems
- Managing access control and electronic security systems
- Monitoring alarms and responding to security alerts
- Coordinating emergency responses and escalating incidents appropriately
- Recording incidents and maintaining accurate control room logs
- Communicating with emergency services, building management and relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with site-specific procedures and emergency plans




- Maintaining professionalism and sound judgement in high-pressure situations

Previous experience in a control room environment is highly desirable. ROVER / PATROL SECURITY OFFICER

Rover Officers help maintain site safety and security through proactive patrols, incident response and professional interaction with employees, contractors and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

- Carrying out routine internal and external security patrols
- Identifying potential risks, hazards and security vulnerabilities
- Detecting and reporting suspicious activity or breaches of procedure
- Responding promptly to security incidents and site-related concerns
- Providing professional assistance to staff, visitors and contractors
- Supporting emergency procedures and incident response activities
- Monitoring and enforcing site access requirements
- Completing accurate patrol records and incident reports
- Maintaining a visible, approachable and professional security presence

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS Applicants must hold and meet all of the following requirements:
- Current NSW Security Licence – MANDATORY
- Current First Aid Certificate – MANDATORY
- Full-Time Availability – MANDATORY
- Availability for the 2 Weeks Days / 2 Weeks Nights Rotating Roster – MANDATORY

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
