CRANE OPERATOR – DUBBO & SURROUNDING REGION

Project commencing early November 2026 | Expected completion March 2027

Lando Hire Services is seeking an experienced crane operator to join a team erecting power poles in the Dubbo region.

You will operate a late-model 60-tonne Liebherr crane and assist with other duties, including hands-on labour, to support the crew. This role suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their work and brings a positive, practical approach to every task.

Essential selection criteria

- C6 crane licence or higher.

- Minimum three years’ crane operating experience, supported by professional referees.

- Minimum HR driver’s licence.

- Ability to operate Franna/pick-and-carry articulated cranes, with the appropriate licence.

- Physical fitness to undertake manual labour and other duties alongside crane operation.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- A positive, can-do attitude and an aptitude for problem-solving.

- A commitment to protected work practices.





- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical examination.

Highly regarded

- Applicants based in Dubbo or surrounding regions.

- Additional relevant high-risk work licences and industry tickets.

- Experience working on powerline or pole erection projects.

The project

Work is expected to commence in the first week of November 2026 and continue until approximately March 2027, with a break over Christmas and New Year.
