About the Role

We’re looking for a Site Security Manager to lead security operations at a major data centre site. You’ll lead and develop a team of security professionals, manage day-to-day operations and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

This is more than a traditional security role.

We’re looking for a solid operational leader who can lead people, manage complex environments and make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong leadership, operational excellence and stakeholder management are key to success.

Salary on Offer: AUD $148,000 - 154,000 base salary.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach and develop site security teams.
- Manage day-to-day security operations.
- Recruit and onboard new team members.
- Drive performance and deliver against KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with policies and audit standards.
- Oversee CCTV and access control systems.
- Manage incidents, reporting and documentation.
- Support audits, inspections and safety reviews.
- Build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Step in for the CSM when required.
- Identify and address security and safety risks.

Who We’re Looking For





- 5+ years of security management experience.
- Experience leading large operational teams.
- Strong people leadership skills.
- Sound knowledge of security operations.
- Solid stakeholder management capability.
- Confident decision-maker under pressure.
- Business-proficient English.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Data centre or critical infrastructure experience is desirable.
- CCTV and access control experience is advantageous.

Job Requirements:

- Must be able to attain a Baseline or NV1 clearance within the first 3 months of joining.
- Must be able to attain a Security License within the first 4-6 months of joining.
