About the role

As our Dental Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients and play an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

Key responsibilities

- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression.
- Managing incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries.
- Scheduling appointments and proactively managing the appointment book to maximise efficiency.
- Processing payments, issuing invoices and managing patient accounts.
- Following up with patients regarding appointments, treatment and outstanding enquiries.
- Coordinating with dentists and dental assistants to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and administrative documentation.
- Supporting the Practice Manager with daily administrative tasks.
- Helping maintain an organised, efficient and welcoming reception environment.

About you

- Previous dental reception experience (highly preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a bubbly personality.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing a busy appointment book and multiple priorities.
- A friendly, professional and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Confidence discussing treatment costs and processing payments.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset.




- Experience with Core Practice would be advantageous.

This position is full time Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm.
