We are currently seeking dedicated Domestic Assistants to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Beachside Aged Care Home.

Successful applicants will form part of our casual pool who provide relief across both morning and afternoon shifts, as well as on weekends and public holidays. You may also have the opportunity to be trained in and work across the roles of Kitchen Hand and Laundry Assistant.

About You

- Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar workplace
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willing to obtain relevant vaccinations
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Clearance (or willing to apply for one

The Role
- Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
- Ensuring supplies are stocked across the facility
- Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met
- Ensuring residents' personal clothing is individually labelled and put away in their rooms, identifying items that require mending
