Centurion Drilling Pty Ltd The Driller safely and efficiently operates drill rigs and ancillary equipment to deliver exploration and blast hole drilling programs to client and geological specifications while maintaining drill quality, equipment care, accurate data capture and profitable site operations in remote Australian environments.

responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Manage mobilisation and de-mobilisation of site Day to day running of the rig Complete the Daily Drilling Report (DDR) for each days drilling data and forward to finance Operate drill rigs for blast hole, diamond core, RC, and air-core applications Conduct toolbox / safety meetings on a daily basis Operating auxiliary plant such as water pumps, light towers, air compressors and boosters Drill holes to design: depth, angle, diameter, collar location, and deviation tolerance as per drill plan / blast design Complete Centurion Drilling safety induction Conduct rig inductions for contractors and visitors and be responsible for them whilst on site Notify Company Director and Manager immediately of any incidents or breakdowns To understand ,implement and promote Centurion Drilling’s health and safety policies,



procedures and standards To strictly comply with the client’s environmental plan To be able to communicate effectively with management and other employees Provide positive motivation to all fellow drill crew members to ensure an ongoing positive work environment at all times Ensure the safety of the drilling crew Ensuring that drilling crew are conversant with the work programme and are capable of normal day to day duties To ensure that all pre-starts and JSA’s have been completed before using the machinery/equipment Clean and carry minor maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and vehicles as required Follow all scheduled serving on rig and other plant to minimise downtime Knowledge of muds and drilling fluids That all Centurion Drilling vehicles, machines and equipment are clean Convey a professional appearance and attitude at ALL times Re-order consumables as required Train Drillers Assistants (offsiders) utilising Safe Work Instructions (SWI’s) Qualification &

experience Relevant Cert II or III Minimum 2 years experience required
