We are growing, and we're looking for an experienced Registered Electrician to join our Electrical Safety team.

This role is focused on conducting electrical safety checks and Minimum Standards assessments across residential rental properties throughout Victoria.

You'll be working directly with tenants and property managers, completing detailed inspections, testing electrical installations and documenting your findings accurately using our digital systems.

This is a great opportunity for an electrician who enjoys field-based work, compliance, inspections and working independently.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct mandatory electrical safety checks in residential rental properties
- Complete electrical testing and inspection in accordance with relevant legislation and standards
- Test RCDs (safety switches) and verify correct operation
- Inspect switchboards, circuit protection, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting and other electrical installations
- Complete required testing including polarity, insulation resistance, continuity, earthing and bonding
- Identify electrical hazards, defects and non-compliant installations
- Conduct Minimum Standards checks and assess properties against applicable rental property requirements
- Accurately document inspection findings and compliance outcomes
- Capture photographic evidence where required
- Complete electronic reports onsite using company-provided devices
- Communicate professionally with tenants, property managers and rental providers
- Identify issues requiring further attention and clearly document recommendations
- Manage a daily schedule of inspections across multiple properties
- Maintain accurate records and complete reports within required timeframes

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a licensed electrician who is confident, thorough and comfortable working independently in residential properties.

Essential

- Electrical Registration
- Valid Driver's Licence




- Strong residential electrical experience
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
- Knowledge of relevant Victorian electrical safety legislation and requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to conduct electrical testing accurately
- Comfortable using testing equipment and digital devices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily inspection schedule
- Professional presentation and customer service skills

Highly Desirable

- Previous experience conducting electrical safety checks
- Experience working within the real estate/property industry
- Experience with rental property compliance
- Experience conducting Minimum Standards assessments
- Experience using ServiceM8 or similar field-service software
- Test & Tag qualification
- CPR / First Aid
- Construction White Card
- Working Safely at Heights
