CGC Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Director / Associate Director to join the Perth building services team of a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Leading a team of 15 engineers , you will combine technical leadership, people development and client engagement, helping shape the electrical team’s direction and project delivery.

This opportunity would suit an established leader or an experienced Associate ready to step into a broader leadership role.

The role

You will provide leadership across electrical building services, supporting your team to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while developing client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 15 engineers
- Providing technical direction and oversight across electrical design and delivery
- Managing team workload, resourcing and project priorities
- Overseeing design reviews, quality assurance and technical standards
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Supporting bids,



proposals and business development activities
- Working alongside other discipline leaders to coordinate multidisciplinary delivery
- Monitoring project performance, budgets and delivery risks

About you

We are interested in hearing from candidates with:

- Extensive electrical engineering experience within building services consultancy
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and developing engineering talent
- Robust technical knowledge of electrical building services and relevant Australian Standards
- A track record of managing client relationships and delivering complex projects
- Commercial awareness and experience contributing to bids and proposals
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification
