Qualified Electricians / Senior Electricians – $60–$70/hr Super

Hang Loose Electrical is hiring two qualified electricians for domestic service and maintenance, real estate maintenance, residential upgrades and commercial projects.

We have a growing workload and are looking for reliable electricians who take pride in their work, communicate well and can see a job through from start to finish.

Pay: $60–$70 per hour plus super, based on skills, experience and the level of responsibility you can confidently take on.

The work

- Domestic fault finding, repairs and maintenance.
- Switchboard upgrades, lighting, fans, power points and general electrical installations.
- Real estate maintenance and direct communication with customers and property managers.
- Commercial fitouts, installations and project work.
- Testing, commissioning and accurate job records.
- Opportunities for regional work and working away, depending on project requirements.

What we expect
- A current Queensland electrical mechanic licence and driver’s licence.
- A construction White Card.
- Strong fault-finding skills and safe, tidy workmanship.
- Ability to work independently, plan the job and organise materials.
- Reliability, punctuality and professional communication.
- Transparent job notes, photos, time entries and material records using ServiceM8, or willingness to learn it.
- Ownership of safety, testing, job completion and keeping the customer informed.

What the top end of the pay range means For a rate towards $70 per hour, we expect proven senior electrician or leading hand capability. You should be able to:
- Run jobs from the initial brief through to testing and handover with minimal supervision.
- Diagnose more complex faults and make sound decisions within your competence.




- Read drawings, plan work and coordinate labour and materials.
- Lead and support apprentices and other electricians.
- Liaise confidently with builders, clients and the office.
- Identify scope changes early and obtain approval before carrying out additional work.
- Deliver productive, quality work, manage deadlines and avoid preventable return visits.
