The opportunity Elevation Built is looking for someone who can take ownership of opportunities from initial enquiry through estimating, negotiation and contract award.

You’ll combine hands-on estimating with developing builder relationships and closing profitable work. Working directly with the Director, you’ll have support from our estimating and delivery teams and the autonomy to keep opportunities moving.

About us Elevation Built is a growing, family-owned commercial contractor delivering ceilings, partitions, carpentry, architectural linings, cladding, acoustic systems and commercial painting throughout South Australia.

Established in late 2025, we’ve built an experienced team across site supervision, project management and estimating. We’re now looking for the right person to help drive our next stage of growth.

What you’ll do Estimating and tenders

Review drawings and specifications, prepare takeoffs, obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing, and develop accurate estimates. Submit clear proposals covering scope, inclusions, exclusions and any outstanding clarifications.

Builder relationships and current opportunities





Develop relationships with commercial builders and stay close to their upcoming projects. Secure tender invitations, introduce our range of services and help select work that suits our capabilities, capacity and margin requirements.

Follow-up, negotiation and closing

Take responsibility for submitted quotes. Understand the builder’s priorities, resolve questions and negotiate scope, price and terms within agreed limits. Keep each opportunity moving towards a decision and secure written acceptance or contract award.

Pipeline and handover

Maintain accurate records of tenders, follow-up actions and likely awards. Hand secured projects over to the delivery team with the agreed scope, budget, negotiated changes and client commitments clearly documented.

You’ll personally prepare estimates, supported by our existing estimating resources. The Director and delivery team will assist with technical input, capacity planning and commercial approvals.

About you You have practical commercial construction estimating experience, sound commercial judgement and the confidence to discuss your pricing with a builder.

You bring

- The ability to read drawings, interpret specifications and prepare accurate takeoffs.
- A strong understanding of labour, materials, subcontractor costs and margins.
- Experience following up tenders, negotiating and helping secure contracts.
- Confidence working with estimators, project managers and construction directors.




- The organisation to manage deadlines and several opportunities at once.
- Initiative, accountability and reliable follow-through.

Experience in one or more of our trade packages will be highly regarded. You don’t need to know every service we deliver, but you do need a strong estimating foundation and a willingness to learn.
