TME Civil is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our civil construction team, working across projects throughout the Wide Bay Burnett and Gladstone regions.

The successful applicant will operate either a late-model John Deere 672 AWD grader or late-model Cat 140 AWD grader. We're looking for an operator who genuinely knows their way around a grader, takes pride in producing a quality finish and looks after the machine they're given.

The role:

Your work will include

- Operating late-model John Deere 672 AWD and Cat 140 AWD graders
- Road construction, upgrades and civil earthworks
- Subgrade, pavement and final trim
- Working to project specifications
- Completing daily pre-starts and reporting defects
- Maintaining your grader in a clean and serviceable condition
- Following SWMS, traffic management and project safety requirements
- Working effectively with supervisors, ground crews and other operators

About you:

This role is suited to an experienced grader operator rather than an entry-level operator.

We're looking for

- Demonstrated grader experience within civil construction and/or roadworks
- Grader competency/VOC or relevant plant qualification
- Construction White Card
- Current driver's licence (HR Licence Preferred)
- Solid understanding of levels, grades, crossfalls and road formation




- Ability to achieve an accurate and tidy finish
- Good plant and site safety awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a civil crew
- Reliability and willingness to work across the Wide Bay Burnett and Gladstone regions
- Willingness to work away when project requirements dictate
- Experience with TMR works, GPS/UTS machine control, final trim and other heavy earthmoving equipment will be highly regarded.
