We are seeking a reliable and capable Female Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to a participant in Grange.
The role involves assisting with household tasks, personal care, and social and community participation. We are looking for someone who can follow established support routines, exercise sound judgement, and provide consistent assistance tailored to the participant’s needs.
About the Role
Responsibilities include
- Assisting with household cleaning, tidying, and other domestic tasks
- Providing personal care while maintaining the participant’s privacy, dignity, and comfort
- Offering companionship and supporting social activities and community outings
- Assisting a wheelchair user with mobility needs, following established support plans and protected handling procedures
- Following established routines and communicating relevant concerns appropriately
About You The ideal candidate will have:
- A patient, attentive approach and the ability to respond appropriately to the participant’s needs
- Experience or confidence in providing personal care and domestic assistance
- The physical capability to perform the role’s duties safely
- A reliable and observant approach, with the ability to follow support instructions
- Previous NDIS or disability support experience (preferred)
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Australian working rights
