Perth & Field-Based Opportunities

You'll have opportunities to work both:

- In the field on exploration and mining projects across Western Australia
- At the Galt Discovery Centre (GDC) in West Leederville (24/7 operation)

The GDC supports drilling programmes, geological data capture, sample management, core processing and technology-enabled project delivery.



This provides exposure to both operational field work and the systems that support successful project execution.

The Role

Depending on project requirements, duties may include:
- Supporting exploration and mining projects
- Digital data capture and project workflows
- Core processing and sample preparation
- Core cutting and photography
- Drill programme support
- Equipment preparation and mobilisation
- Project logistics support
- Supporting geologists and project teams
- Continuous improvement initiatives

About You

You may have:
- Mining, exploration, field or labouring experience
- Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen
- Excellent computer and technology skills
- Ability to learn new systems
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Willingness to travel and work on WA projects

Most importantly, you're the type of person who looks at a process and asks: "Why are we doing it this way?"
