Join a leading gold operation in the WA Goldfields as a Field Assistant. You will work on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth, providing crucial support to the geology team in exploration and resource definition activities.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

- Processing diamond core, including mark-up, orientation, and photography
- Carrying out core cutting and sampling
- Assisting with RC sampling, chip collection, and storage
- Preparing, labelling, and dispatching samples while ensuring adherence to QA/QC processes
- Supporting drill site preparation and rehabilitation
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry for sample data
- Helping with camp set-up, vehicle checks, and general housekeeping

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Recent experience as a field assistant or in exploration
- A broad knowledge of exploration and mining processes
- A current Australian C-class manual driver’s licence
- Robust safety awareness and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team

It is highly regarded if you have:




- Experience with diamond core processing and RC sampling
- Experience in camp set-up and maintenance
- Licences for forklift, loader, or backhoe operations
- GPS/DGPS experience and a current First Aid certificate
