Delpro Technical Services provides field service support across Townsville and surrounding areas.

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to assist with on-site Point of sale, EFTPOS and IT field service work, including equipment installations, swaps and basic troubleshooting.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in IT or electronics looking to develop practical field service experience.

We welcome applications from individuals seeking part time / casual employment , or experienced independent contractors looking for additional field service work in the region.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting a variety of customer sites.

The role would suit someone with a strong interest in IT or electronics, good customer service skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently.

You will be expected to work professionally, follow established procedures, maintain accurate records and represent Delpro to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Attend customer sites to provide basic technical support and troubleshooting

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on PCs, peripherals, printers, EFTPOS equipment and related hardware





- Assist with EFTPOS installations, upgrades and equipment swaps

- Support basic networking tasks

- Maintain accurate job notes, service records and stock records

- Conduct basic asset management and equipment checks

- Meet response times, job completion requirements and documentation standards

- Deliver professional and friendly customer service

What You'll Need

- No previous industry experience required for employee applicants, although an interest in IT or electronics is preferred

- Good communication skills and professional presentation

- Reliability, punctuality and willingness to learn

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Current Australian driver's licence

- Access to reliable transport

- Police check, or willingness to obtain one
