About Us

Toto Fish Bar is a contemporary Japanese restaurant specialising in premium sashimi, dry-aged seafood, sushi, and modern Japanese cuisine.

We are looking for experienced and skilled Front of House staff who understand quality table service and can confidently look after guests in a premium dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, professional, and welcoming table service.
- Confidently manage assigned tables from greeting and ordering through to payment and farewell.
- Explain menu items, make recommendations, and assist guests with food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders and coordinate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages with proper dining etiquette.
- Anticipate customer needs and maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
- Handle reservations, POS payments, table setup, and closing duties.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.

Requirements

Previous restaurant table-service experience is essential.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably Japanese, premium casual dining, or fine dining.
- Able to confidently wait on tables and manage multiple tables independently.




- Good understanding of restaurant service etiquette, including food presentation, table clearing, and service timing.
- Strong English communication skills to engage confidently with customers.
- Professional presentation, positive attitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy dinner services.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and initiative.
- Availability for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
- Valid RSA certification is highly regarded.

Applicants with fine dining or premium restaurant experience will be given preference.

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
