Clear Logistics Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Mate to join our tug and barge operations based in Brisbane, Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established marine operations company, working on a busy dredging operation within Moreton Bay.

About the Role The successful candidate will work as Mate on board our tug and barge combination, assisting with daily vessel operations, navigation, towing, dredging activities and safe vessel movements.

Essential Requirements

- Master <45m Near Coastal Certificate of Competency

- Proven tug and barge operational experience – essential

- Strong vessel handling, navigation and seamanship skills

- Sound understanding of marine safety and operational procedures

- Ability to work effectively within a small, experienced crew

Highly Regarded:

- Previous dredging experience

- Experience operating tug and barge combinations in confined waterways

- Local knowledge of Brisbane and Moreton Bay

Clear Logistics Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated General Purpose Hand (GPH) to join our tug and barge operations based in Brisbane, Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established marine operations company, working on a busy dredging operation within Moreton Bay.

About the Role The successful candidate will work as a GPH on board our tug and barge combination, assisting with daily vessel operations, towing, mooring, dredging activities and general vessel maintenance.

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious individual with proven tug and barge experience who can work effectively as part of a small, experienced crew.

Essential Requirements

- General Purpose Hand (GPH) qualification

- Proven tug and barge operational experience – essential

- Experience with towing, mooring and deck operations

- Sound understanding of marine safety procedures

- Strong practical skills and a hands-on approach

- Ability to work effectively within a small crew

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Highly Regarded

- Previous dredging experience

- Experience working with tug and barge combinations

- Local knowledge of Brisbane and Moreton Bay

- Mechanical aptitude and general vessel maintenance experience
