The Role

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to take ownership of projects and help lead and grow our geotechnical team.

Working alongside our Geotechnical Manager, you will enjoy a mix of office and site work.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead projects from proposal and investigation through to reporting and construction support.
- Guide technical delivery and provide practical engineering advice.
- Serve as the technical authority, reviewing and providing guidance on complex work.
- Manage schedules, resources and client relationships.
- Mentor junior staff and strengthen the team’s technical capability.
- Support business growth through client development and improvements to how we work.

About You

- Degree in Civil Engineering,



Geology or a relevant equivalent.
- 7 years’ geotechnical experience, preferably within an Australian consulting environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant Australian Standards and industry regulations and geotechnical best practices.
- Strong technical judgement, report writing, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise confidently with key stakeholders.
- An interest in mentoring and contributing to team growth.
- High level of accuracy and robust attention to detail.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to undertake regional travel as required.
