About E-LAB Consulting

E-LAB Consulting is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy working across acoustics and vibration, fire engineering, sustainability and specialist services. With around 100 people across NSW, QLD, ACT, VIC, WA and overseas, we are big enough to work on significant projects and small enough that your contribution is seen.

You’d be

- Working alongside our Newcastle sustainability team on real projects
- Learning the tools and methods behind energy-efficient, sustainable buildings, including NCC Section J compliance and rating schemes such as Green Star, WELL and NABERS
- Preparing modelling, calculations and technical reports with guidance from experienced engineers
- Helping shape how we work, not just following the steps

What matters most

- A degree in Engineering, Architecture or Science
- Australian working rights




- Curiosity, proactivity and positive communication

Prior experience is appreciated but not required. You don’t need years of experience. We’re after someone curious, switched on and keen to learn, with solid engineering fundamentals and a genuine interest in sustainable design. Still studying?

If you’re in your final year, we’re open to starting you as an intern and taking it from there.
