What You’ll Be Doing

- Building a high-performing kitchen team through effective leadership, coaching and ongoing development.
- Collaborating with the wider management team to deliver seamless operations and an outstanding guest experience.
- Controlling food costs, stock levels, ordering and wastage to support strong commercial performance.
- Driving consistency in food quality, presentation, portion control and recipe execution across every service.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, allergen management and workplace health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Leading kitchen preparation and service across busy shifts, keeping the team organised, focused and ready for service.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen that meets brand standards and supports smooth operations.
- Managing kitchen labour, rosters and team deployment to meet trading demands and operational requirements.
- Overseeing menu execution, preparation standards and kitchen procedures to ensure every dish meets expectations.
- Supporting a positive, accountable team culture where communication, collaboration and high standards come naturally.

What We’re Looking For

- A hands-on leader who sets the standard, leads by example and brings energy and purpose to every shift.
- A passion for food,



quality and delivering great dining experiences in a high-energy entertainment workplace.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, make confident decisions and keep service running smoothly during peak periods.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to manage food costs, labour, inventory and kitchen performance.
- Confidence in leading a kitchen team across multiple sections while maintaining consistency and efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable senior kitchen leadership role, ideally in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on developing people and driving accountability.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and relevant workplace health and safety requirements.
- Relevant trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery and a current Food Safety Supervisor qualification, or the ability to obtain the required certification.
- Resilience and flexibility, including availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
