About the role

Tec-NQ is looking for an experienced tradesperson with a passion for teaching who is ready to bring an engaging, hands-on approach to the classroom and workshop. You will train apprentices as a Mobile Plant Technician and shape the next generation of the trade. You don't need prior teaching experience — Tec-NQ will support you with coaching, mentoring, and training. What matters most is your industry expertise, qualifications, and the right attitude.

Key responsibilities

- Train apprentices in Mobile Plant Technician trade
- Deliver engaging, hands-on classroom and workshop instruction
- Support the next generation of tradespeople in their career preparation

About you

- A trade qualification in Automotive Mobile Plant with post-trade work experience in industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) or a higher qualification
- An understanding of vocational education and training




- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence
- Queensland 'Blue Card' to work with children or eligibility to attain
