About the role

As Scheduler at Pearl Home Care Gold Coast, you'll make sure the right support worker turns up at the right home at the right time, every time. When a worker calls in sick or a client's plans change, you'll be the one who fixes it quickly and keeps everyone informed.

Key responsibilities

- Build and manage weekly rosters for Support at Home, private and brokerage clients
- Fill gaps fast: cover sick calls, cancellations and urgent current services as they come in
- Match the right worker to the right client, based on skills, client preferences, continuity of care and location
- Plan efficient runs that keep travel time down and support workers' hours steady
- Roster within award rules (SCHADS), with training provided if this is new to you
- Set up new services from private and brokerage referrals
- Act as first point of contact for support workers and clients about times, changes and missed visits
- Keep the rostering system accurate, so clients get the right care and billing is right
- Flag concerns, such as missed visits, client issues or worker problems, to the Care Partners or Care Services Manager

About you

- Calm under pressure. When several shifts fall over at once, you prioritise, act and don't panic
- A problem-solver. You enjoy working out the puzzle of who can go where, when
- Detail-focused. A wrong time or address means an older person misses their care, so you double-check




- Comfortable on the phone. You can be warm with a worried client and firm but fair with a support worker
- Able to juggle. You can handle calls, messages and roster changes at the same time without losing track
- Reliable and organised. People depend on the roster being right, and on you following through
- Confident with technology. You learn new systems quickly and are comfortable with Outlook and Excel
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to get one
- Australian work rights (sponsorship not available)
- Highly regarded: Scheduling or rostering experience in home care, community care or disability support
