Aegina Business Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Lead to join our growing team in Sydney. This is a full-time position based in Sydney NSW 2000, offering an excellent opportunity to lead technology initiatives and drive product innovation within our organisation.

As Information Systems

Lead, you will play a pivotal strategic role in overseeing the direction, implementation and optimisation of our information systems infrastructure. This position is fundamental to ensuring our technology aligns with business objectives and supports our continued growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications aligned with business requirements.
- Oversee the design and implementation of application features, APIs, integrations, and database solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of time‑sheeting and expense‑management applications, including development, optimisation, workflow automation, and ongoing support.
- Drive application testing, debugging, and performance optimisation to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Provide leadership in production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and health to ensure business continuity.
- Manage application deployments, release cycles, and post‑implementation support.
- Lead the design and optimisation of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain high‑quality technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, governance frameworks, and support standards.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancement.

What we're looking for





- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in information systems management, development, and support.
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage diverse development and support activities.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Highly preferable: Experience with Document Management Systems, especially M‑Files, including support and development using Vault Application Framework (VAF).
