The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a growing accounting firm looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join its Business Services team.

You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and Managers, managing your own client portfolio and gaining exposure to a range of businesses and tax matters.

Your Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS.
- Work across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals.
- Assist clients with tax and business queries.
- Manage your own workload and deadlines.
- Build strong client relationships.
- Work with Managers and Partners on more complex tax matters.

About You

- At least 3 years' Australian public practice experience.
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance.
- Currently studying or looking to commence CA or CPA.
- Experience working with businesses with turnovers of $5 million and above.
- Valuable communication and organisational skills.
- Full Australian working rights.

Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks will be highly regarded. What's on Offer?

- $85,000 + Super.
- Hybrid working, with up to two days from home after probation.
