The Opportunity

This is a hands-on infrastructure role responsible for the administration, maintenance and continual improvement of enterprise IT environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. You'll play a key role in ensuring system availability, security, scalability and operational excellence, while also contributing to projects that support business growth and transformation. Working closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders, you'll have the opportunity to influence infrastructure strategy, implement new technologies and help shape a contemporary, secure technology landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

- Maintaining and administering server, network and cloud infrastructure
- Ensuring high availability, performance and operational stability across IT services
- Managing and resolving complex infrastructure escalations
- Mentoring and supporting junior technical team members
- Supporting business continuity, disaster recovery and backup strategies
- Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions aligned with business and technology objectives
- Delivering new on-premises and cloud-based services
- Providing technical expertise across IT and business projects
- Maintaining accurate infrastructure documentation and technical standards
- Driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives where possible

What We're Looking For

Technical Skills

You'll bring strong experience across several of the following technologies:
- VMware and virtualisation platforms




- Windows Server environments
- Active Directory
- Networking fundamentals and administration
- Microsoft 365
- AWS and/or Azure cloud services
- DFS-N and DFS-R
- PowerShell and/or Bash scripting
- IT infrastructure security best practices
- macOS and Linux operating systems
- Software and infrastructure licensing fundamentals

Experience & Personal Attributes
