Job Profile – Junior Sales Assistant

- Provide friendly and skilled customer service and assist customers with product selection.
- Process sales transactions, handle payments, and manage customer orders accurately.
- Prepare, pack, weigh, label, and display chicken products according to company standards.
- Maintain product freshness, stock rotation, and correct refrigeration temperatures.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and report shortages or product quality issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of display fridges, counters, equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Complete end-of-day closing duties, including product storage, cleaning, and waste disposal.
- Ensure the store is tidy, organised, and secure before leaving at closing time.
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow all reasonable management instructions and store procedures.

Expected hours: 3.0 – 30.0 per week
