We are seeking motivated Labourers – easy Furniture Assemblers to assist with unpacking, assembling and positioning desks and chairs in classrooms across Glenwood and South-West Sydney.

This is a great chance for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their work and can work effectively as part of a team.

About the Role

Your duties will include

- Unpacking and moving boxes containing desks and chairs.
- Assembling furniture using cordless drills and basic hand tools.
- Placing furniture in designated classroom locations.
- Removing packaging and managing waste.
- Maintaining clean and tidy work areas.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team, with onsite training provided.

You will be working in clean school classroom environments, with no heavy lifting required. About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current driver's licence.
- Your own reliable vehicle to travel between job sites.
- A current White Card.
- Steel-capped safety boots.
- Experience using a cordless drill and assembling furniture, or a willingness to learn.
- A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.




- The ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout South-West Sydney.

A hard hat is desirable if you have your own. High-visibility vests will be supplied. A Working With Children Check is not required for this role.

Employment Details

- Employment type: Casual
- Start date: Wednesday 14 October 2026
- Initial assignment: 2 weeks, with the potential for further work for up to 8 weeks.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.
- Lunch break: 30 minutes.
- Location: Glenwood, with travel to other sites throughout South-West Sydney.

There may be a break between projects; however, further opportunities may be available for reliable candidates who are willing and able to travel between sites. What's on Offer?
