About the role: You will work closely with experienced banking and finance lawyers across a broad range of transactional and advisory matters, including:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating loan agreements, mortgages, security documents and other finance agreements.
- Advising on banking, lending, commercial and property-related finance transactions.
- Assisting with due diligence, settlements, land title transactions and electronic lodgements using PEXA.
- Providing advice on financial services regulation, compliance and commercial arrangements.
- Assisting with fund establishment, fund mergers and service provider agreements.
- Preparing and reviewing disclosure documents and financial services materials.




- Working directly with clients and senior lawyers to deliver practical, commercially focused advice.

The ideal candidate:

- Approximately 2–5 years' PQE.
- Experience in banking and finance, financial services, commercial law or related transactions.
- Exposure to lending, security documentation, property finance, PEXA or financial services regulation will be highly regarded.
- Strong drafting, analytical, legal research and communication skills.
- Proactive, organised and confident managing competing deadlines and client expectations.
- Genuine interest in banking and finance, commercial problem-solving and developing long-term client relationships.
