Join a well-established aged care provider in the South-West Sydney area, supporting a residential facility and independent living units located on the same site.

Your new role An experienced Maintenance Officer is required for a 4-week leave cover assignment. Working alongside the current Maintenance Officer before they commence leave, you'll receive a thorough handover to ensure a smooth transition. The workload is manageable and includes:

- General repairs and building maintenance
- Reactive and preventative maintenance
- Conducting routine site inspections
- Responding to maintenance requests across the facility.
- Identifying and reporting safety hazards

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Officer, Handy Person or Facilities Maintenance professional
- Strong communication skills and confident spoken English
- Basic computer skills for logging and managing maintenance tasks




- Ability to work independently and build rapport with residents and staff
- Relevant trade qualifications or tickets are advantageous but not essential
- WHV holders are welcome and encouraged to apply
