Responsibilities

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will drive a safe, productive and reliable maintenance operation across a diverse underground fleet. You will provide leadership, technical expertise and strategic direction to ensure equipment reliability, maintenance excellence and compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead,



mentor and develop a team of mechanical professionals
- Oversee maintenance and repair activities across site equipment
- Drive equipment reliability and fleet performance
- Manage maintenance planning, scheduling and execution
- Investigate equipment breakdowns and implement preventative solutions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, training, environmental and quality systems
- Monitor performance and deliver continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

About You

You are a motivated maintenance leader with a strong underground mining background and a passion for developing people.

You'll ideally have

- Mechanical Trade Qualification or relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven underground mining maintenance experience
- Previous leadership experience managing mechanical teams
- Strong planning, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritise work in a dynamic production environment
- Current manual driver's licence
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
