MADE Medical Home is a brand-new, independent GP-owned practice in Marrickville, built around excellent medicine, meaningful patient relationships and a better way to work.

We're looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist who loves outstanding systems, thoughtful service and making a busy day run smoothly.

The role

Working alongside our GPs, nurses and practice management team, you'll be responsible for:

- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional experience
- Managing appointments, phone enquiries and online bookings
- Private billing, Medicare claiming and payment processing
- Patient records, referrals, recalls and correspondence
- Coordinating with doctors, nurses and pathology providers
- Managing incoming results and directing them to doctors for review
- Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
- Keeping reception organised and improving daily workflows

What you'll need

- Previous general practice reception experience
- Experience with Best Practice Premier
- Confidence with Medicare claiming and private billing
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- A warm, professional and patient-centred approach

Highly regarded:

- Experience with HotDoc and Cubiko
- Interest in social media and local community engagement
- Familiarity with recalls, reminders and pathology workflows
- Experience improving reception systems and processes
