About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced part-time Medical Receptionist to join our busy specialist practice in Randwick, NSW. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

- Offering up to three sessions per week, up to eight hours work per day
- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling incoming phone calls
- Maintaining an organised and efficient filing system
- Assisting with medical billing and insurance claims processing
- Providing general administrative support to the medical specialist team as required

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills,



with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using medical practice management software and Microsoft Office suite
- A friendly, professional, and empathetic demeanour
- A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- A minimum of one year in a customer service role
