Mining Employment Services is seeking an experienced Mine Geologist to join an established high-grade gold operation in Western Australia. This role involves significant contributions to grade control, geological mapping, ore delineation, and production optimisation in a fully operational mining setting.

The role

- Complete underground face and wall mapping, sampling, and geological logging.
- Provide ore drive directions to optimise orebody positioning for stoping.
- Execute digital underground mapping programs and support ore control activities.
- Assist with underground and open-pit production tracking and ore delineation.
- Maintain high standards of drilling, sampling, and QAQC practices.
- Assist with wireframing and updating significant geological structures.
- Liaise with mining, survey, and engineering teams to support production objectives.
- Prepare weekly geological reports and maintain accurate operational data.
- Assist with training and mentoring junior geologists.
- Ensure all geological activities comply with site safety procedures.

About you

- Tertiary qualification in Geology.
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in an underground production geology role.
- Strong knowledge of geological mapping,



structural geology, drilling, and sampling techniques.
- Experience with mining software such as Vulcan and acQuire.
- Gold mining experience is highly regarded.
- Strong communication, reporting, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with site teams.
- Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
