Senior Network Engineer – Cisco & Fortinet

3-Month Contract | Immediate Start | Perth

We’re looking for a seriously hands-on Network Engineer who knows their way around a complex Cisco environment and loves getting stuck into technical challenges.

This is an initial 3-month contract with an ASAP start, working in a large, complex enterprise setting where your technical expertise will make an immediate impact.

We need someone who can hit the ground running, confidently jump into configurations, troubleshoot tricky connectivity issues and keep the network running smoothly.

What we're looking for

- Cisco CLI – absolutely essential. You need to be confident configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network devices.
- Cisco Firepower (FTD/FMC) – hands-on experience deploying firewall policies and resolving connectivity issues.
- Cisco ISE – experience managing devices, troubleshooting access policies and general administration.
- Cisco SDA / Catalyst Center – ideally comfortable troubleshooting fabric switches and working within software-defined networks.

- VRFs – a solid understanding of network segmentation and environments running multiple VRFs.
- Fortinet – experience across FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, FortiAP and FortiManager.
- Cisco ACI – a bonus if you've worked with it.

Who would suit this? You're an experienced Network Engineer or Network Security Engineer who's spent time working in large enterprise environments. You're technically strong, confident working independently and comfortable getting into the detail to solve problems.

We're not looking for someone who just monitors networks or escalates issues. We need someone who can roll up their sleeves, work through complex problems and get things done.

Available to start quickly?

If Cisco networking is your bread and butter and you're keen to jump into a challenging contract, we'd love to hear from you.
