We are seeking an experienced Nursery person for our wholesale container citrus Nursery to work full time for a minimum of two years at our Kenley facility. The position requires the person to work outdoors and work in a multicultural team.

Certificate III or IV in Wholesale Nursery or Horticulture plus two years of full time post qualification as a Nursery Person or at least three years experience as a Nursery Person is essential.

Duties include, but are not restricted to:

- budding and grafting vegetative material onto rootstock
- applying pesticides to control pests, diseases, weeds and nutritional and environmental plant disorders
- treating and sowing seed
- deshooting/staking/tying of nursery trees
- record keeping of all budding and grafting, potting up, rootstocks, and daily activities
- supervising and instructing casual workers




- checking moisture levels of plants and hand watering if necessary
- preparing potting media and checking bags before planting
- Selecting cuttings and seedlings for transplanting
- Transplanting of selected seedlings

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:
- Chemical Certificate (Required)
- Australian Driver's License essential (Required)
