Occupational Therapist
Townsville, Northern QLD (Hybrid)
Full time / Part-time
$90,000 – $115,000 per year + super + pd + bonus
Looking for a role where you feel genuinely supported, valued and able to grow?
At Healthcore, we believe that supporting our therapists is just as important as supporting our clients. Following our continued growth in South Australia, we've recently expanded into Queensland, commencing Occupational Therapy services in Townsville and surrounding areas. We're now looking for another Occupational Therapist to join our growing team!
You'll work alongside our Townsville-based Clinical Lead, Occupational Therapy, while being part of an established team of experienced OTs. This means you'll have local, hands-on clinical support, as well as access to the collective knowledge, experience, collaboration and support of our broader OT team.
Whether you're an early-career OT looking for guidance and opportunities to develop your skills, or an experienced clinician seeking greater autonomy, flexibility and professional satisfaction, we'd love to hear from you.
We're offering both full-time and part-time opportunities, with versatile working arrangements to help you achieve the right balance between your professional and personal life.
Why Join Healthcore?
We've worked hard to create a workplace where our therapists can focus on providing excellent clinical care, feel supported in their work and continue developing their skills and interests.
Here's what you can expect:
Genuine, local clinical support and a team behind you – Benefit from regular individual workflow meetings, clinical supervision and mentoring with our Townsville-based OT Clinical Lead, alongside opportunities for peer collaboration and ongoing support from our experienced OT team, Clinical Manager, Occupational Therapy and broader Clinical Leadership Team.
- A caseload that suits you – Wherever possible, we match clients to your clinical interests, experience and career goals, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach focused solely on KPIs.
- Less administration, more clinical time – Our dedicated Administration and Intake Team manages appointment scheduling, referrals and service agreements, allowing you to focus on your clients.
- Full-time or part time flexibility – Enjoy flexible working arrangements, with opportunities to combine community-based appointments, telehealth and working from home, where appropriate.
- Competitive remuneration – $90,000 – $115,000 + superannuation, depending on your skills and experience. Remuneration and any applicable bonus are negotiated and are pro rata for part-time employees.
- Professional development – Receive up to $1,000 annually towards external professional development, alongside regular clinical supervision, structured team meetings and peer collaboration. The PD allowance is calculated pro rata for part-time employees.
- Career progression – Opportunities to develop professionally and take on additional responsibilities as our services continue to grow.
- A supportive team culture – Be part of a team-oriented, multidisciplinary organisation that values communication, wellbeing and supporting one another.
