About the role

Marlu Resources Group is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Offshore Paramedics, Intensive Care Paramedics and Offshore Registered Nurses to join the expanding medical and emergency response workforce supporting upcoming opportunities within Australia's offshore oil and gas sector. Successful candidates may be considered for offshore assignments supporting major energy operations, including production facilities, offshore platforms and other remote marine environments.

Key responsibilities

- Providing primary healthcare, emergency medical treatment and critical care within offshore environments
- Managing the day-to-day operation of offshore medical facilities and equipment
- Responding to medical emergencies, injuries and acute illness
- Supporting medical evacuation planning, coordination and clinical handovers
- Conducting clinical assessments, triage and ongoing patient monitoring
- Supporting occupational health, fitness-for-work and injury management programs
- Participating in emergency response exercises, drills and operational readiness activities
- Maintaining clinical documentation, medical supplies and equipment readiness
- Working collaboratively with offshore leadership, emergency response personnel and onshore medical support teams

About you





- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic
- Relevant qualifications in nursing, paramedicine or critical care
- Demonstrated experience in emergency, acute or critical care, or remote medical environments - offshore experience is mandatory.
- Current advanced life support competency appropriate to the position
- Strong emergency assessment, resuscitation and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within approved clinical protocols and escalation arrangements
- Australian working rights and ability to meet offshore medical fitness requirements
