We're growing and looking for a reliable, skilled Full time Zoo Handyman / Maintenance All-Rounder to join our team.

About the Role:
You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving zoo facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and visually appealing environment for both animals and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and repairs across the zoo
- Fencing installation, repair, and upkeep
- Carpentry and basic construction tasks
- Safe operation of a wide range of tools and equipment
- Assisting with facility upgrades and new projects
- Ensuring all work complies with safety standards
About You:
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role
- Minimum 3-5 years of handyman or maintenance experience required
- Strong skills in fencing, carpentry, and general repairs
- Intermediate level carpentry and trade skills required
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (OH&S;) requirements
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements:
- Must have sound OH&S; knowledge and experience
- Willingness to obtain (or already hold) a Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Valid driver's licence (preferred)
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
