We are seeking an experienced, organised and motivated Operations Manager to join our growing facilities management company on the Sunshine Coast.

Reporting directly to the General Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing daily service delivery across multiple commercial properties, managing operational staff and contractors, coordinating maintenance and cleaning services, and ensuring all client requirements are consistently met.

This is a hands-on management position requiring strong leadership, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.

You will work closely with the General Manager – Operations to implement operational strategies, improve service efficiency and maintain high standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Report directly to the General Manager – Operations on operational performance, staffing and service delivery.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple commercial properties.
- Supervise and coordinate Commercial Cleaners, Facilities Services Technicians and subcontractors.
- Develop and manage employee rosters, work schedules and site allocations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure cleaning, maintenance and facilities services meet contractual requirements.
- Monitor employee performance, productivity and service standards.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and respond to operational issues.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors and site representatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Assist the General Manager with operational budgets, reporting and resource planning.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to the General Manager.





Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in operations management, facilities management, commercial cleaning management or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience supervising employees and subcontractors.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing priorities.
- Experience with rostering, scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
- Good computer skills and experience with operational reporting systems.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Ability to travel between commercial sites throughout the Sunshine Coast.
