South Eastern Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Personal Care Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis for night duty at our facility in Noble Park, VIC. In this essential role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the shift.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Monitoring patient's health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team
- Ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients
- Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated experience providing personal care to patients in a hospital or aged care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and connect with patients
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
- Flexibility to work night shifts as required
