Melbourne Private Hospital has an chance for an innovative and passionate Grade 2 Acute Physiotherapist to join our established team.

As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:

- Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to our wards
- Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
- Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services.

About us Melbourne Private hospital is a 124- bed private hospital co- located at the Royal Melbourne in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10 bed intensive care unit, 4 bed acute coronary care unit and 6 bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.

Essential Criteria:

- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Excellent clinical practice skills to manage a high acuity caseload




- Recent Acute Hospital experience
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
