About Go Parcel Plus

Go Parcel Plus is looking for a reliable and motivated Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team in Adelaide. Based out of Adelaide Airport you will be responsible for delivering Team Global Express freight throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area and undertaking shuttle runs to regional locations.

You will play an important role in ensuring freight is collected, transported and delivered safely, efficiently and on time. If you're a dependable person who takes pride in doing a good job and enjoys being out on the road, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

This is a casual position with a view to permanent full-time employment for the right candidate. The role offers a mix of morning (6.15am start) and afternoon shifts (12pm start), Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work required. Applicants must be flexible and available to work across the advertised shift patterns as required by the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking shuttle runs between Adelaide and regional locations.

- Collecting and delivering freight to residential and commercial customers throughout metropolitan Adelaide as required.

- Planning and managing your delivery run to ensure freight is handled efficiently and delivered on time.

- Loading, unloading and organising parcels for delivery.

- Using handheld devices to scan freight, record deliveries and obtain customer signatures.

- Providing friendly, professional service to customers.





- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage or maintenance issues.

- Following all road safety requirements, workplace procedures and safe manual-handling practices.

About you

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work. You'll be comfortable working independently, managing your time and representing our business professionally when dealing with customers.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- A current Australian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.

- A safe driving history and a solid commitment to road safety.

- Good time management and organisational skills.

- A friendly, professional approach to customer service.

- The physical ability to regularly lift, carry and handle parcels.

- Basic IT skills to be able to use handheld digital devices.

- A dependable attitude and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.

- Flexibility to work morning or afternoon shifts and Saturdays.

Previous parcel delivery or transport experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
