About Go Parcel Plus

Go Parcel Plus is looking for a reliable and motivated Pickup and Delivery Driver to join our team in Berri, servicing customers throughout the Riverland. Working with Team Global Express freight, you'll play an significant role in ensuring parcels are picked up and delivered safely, efficiently and on time. You'll be out on the road each day, working independently, meeting customers and helping keep freight moving across the region.

About the role

This is a casual position with an immediate start available for the right person. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Collecting and delivering parcels to residential and commercial customers throughout the Riverland area.
- Planning and managing your delivery run to ensure freight is handled efficiently and delivered on time.
- Loading, unloading and organising parcels for delivery.
- Using handheld devices to scan freight, record deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
- Providing friendly, professional service to customers.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any damage or maintenance issues.
- Following all road safety requirements,



workplace procedures and protected manual-handling practices.

About you

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work. You'll be comfortable working independently, managing your time and representing our business professionally when dealing with customers. To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A current Australian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
- A safe driving history and a strong commitment to road safety.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A friendly, professional approach to customer service.
- The physical ability to regularly lift, carry and handle parcels.
- Basic IT skills to be able to use handheld digital devices.
- A dependable attitude and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Previous parcel delivery or transport experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
