About the role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work to manage the product compliance, safety and sampling processes for candy and toy products ensuring both the origin factory and the product meet all required audit and compliance requirements. This role is a key interface between licensors, production and factories.

Key responsibilities

- Supplier factories compliance – ensuring all supplier factories have up to date Social Compliance Audits and Quality Certificates in line with licensor requirements
- Product Compliance - ensuring products are tested and meet all Toy Safety Standards
- Labelling Compliance – ensuring all labelling complies with latest FSANZ guidelines
- Manage pre-production and shipping sample requirements whilst working within tight production schedules
- Keeping Licensor portals updated with all compliance and sampling requirements ensuring smooth product approval
- Working with factories and key departments to ensure all stakeholders are informed of issues and priorities, especially with regards to the compliance and product sampling processes

About you





- Previous experience in working with Licence products will be seen as an advantage
- A excellent eye for detail
- Strong knowledge across the product development process
- A basic understanding of printing processes and packaging development advantageous
- Strong initiative, problem solving and communication skills (Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking advantageous)
- Experience in dealing and procuring directly with off-shore suppliers
- Up to date knowledge of FSANZ and regulatory codes of practice
- Sound organisational skills with the ability to work at pace, multi task and prioritise in line with business objectives
- The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
