As Mineral Technologies continues to expand its global footprint and product offerings, we have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager – Hydrocyclone Equipment to join our team. This is a high-impact role where you'll take ownership of the design, development, performance, and ongoing evolution of our hydrocyclone product portfolio.

Working across Business Development, Process Technology Development (R&D;), Metallurgical Services, Engineering, and Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our hydrocyclone technology. With a strong focus on product design and technical development, you will help ensure our equipment delivers exceptional classification performance, reliability, wear life, manufacturability, and value for customers globally.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and influence the design, development, and ongoing optimisation of hydrocyclone equipment, components, and configurations.
- Ensure hydrocyclone product designs meet operational, manufacturing, WHS, environmental, quality, and risk management requirements.
- Drive continuous design improvements focused on classification performance, hydraulic efficiency, reliability, wear life, maintainability, and cost competitiveness.
- Provide technical leadership across hydrocyclone product design, engineering standards, specifications, materials selection, and product application.
- Work closely with R&D;, Metallurgical Services, Engineering, and Manufacturing to develop, test, validate, and commercialise new and improved hydrocyclone products.
- Use laboratory testing, operational performance data, customer feedback, and market insights to identify opportunities for product enhancement and future design development.
- Support Business Development and customers with technical product selection, application guidance,



troubleshooting, and engineering solutions for hydrocyclone and classification circuits.

About You

You are a technically strong engineering professional with a passion for product design, equipment development, and solving complex mineral processing challenges. You understand how good engineering design translates into improved equipment performance and are comfortable working across technical, manufacturing, operational, and commercial environments.

To be successful, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Process, or Metallurgical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong experience within mineral processing, mining equipment, mechanical product design, or related engineering environments




- Demonstrated experience in product design, product development, equipment engineering, technical leadership, or technology-focused roles
- Experience with hydrocyclone technology, classification equipment, slurry systems, or mineral processing circuits will be highly regarded
- An understanding of engineering design principles, materials, wear performance, manufacturing considerations, and equipment optimisation
- The ability to translate operational requirements, testing outcomes, and customer feedback into practical product design improvements
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, metallurgy, manufacturing, commercial, and customer teams
- Availability to travel as required.
