CleanTasker is looking for a driven, customer-focused Product Owner / Product Manager to help shape the future of commercial cleaning and facility management technology.

The RoleAs our Product Owner / Product Manager, you will take ownership of the product lifecycle—from understanding customer problems and defining priorities through to delivery, launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.

This role also carries meaningful project management responsibility. You will coordinate initiatives across engineering, design, QA, sales, support, and leadership, ensuring projects are planned clearly, remain on track, and deliver outcomes that matter to customers and the business.

You will be comfortable moving between strategic product thinking and practical execution: setting the roadmap one moment, clarifying a user story or unblocking a delivery team the next.

What You’ll Do

- Own and evolve CleanTasker’s product roadmap in line with customer needs, business strategy, and market opportunities.
- Speak regularly with customers, prospects, internal teams, and other stakeholders to understand operational pain points and identify valuable product opportunities.
- Translate insights into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria,



workflows, and prioritised backlogs.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality product releases.
- Manage projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholder updates, and delivery outcomes.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritisation discussions, release coordination, and retrospective improvement where appropriate.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to guide evidence-based decisions.
- Run product experiments and usability improvements to increase adoption, engagement, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the product remains intuitive, scalable, reliable, and relevant to the commercial cleaning and facility management industry.
- Support product demonstrations and presentations for prospective customers during the sales process when needed.
- Contribute to go-to-market planning, feature launches, product communications, and internal enablement.
- Help establish and improve product and delivery processes as the CleanTasker team grows.

About YouYou are a proactive product professional who enjoys solving real operational problems and turning ambiguity into explicit, practical plans. You have strong ownership, communicate confidently across different audiences, and can balance customer needs with commercial and technical considerations. You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and managing the day-to-day detail needed to move a project forward.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in product management, product ownership, project management, or a closely related role.
- Strong skills in roadmap planning, requirements gathering, backlog prioritisation, user story writing, and product delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects across cross-functional teams, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with engineering,



design, sales, customer support, and leadership teams in an agile or fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting product metrics, user behaviour, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Ability to conduct user research and stakeholder interviews, then translate qualitative insight into clear product improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present plans and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, product analytics platforms, or similar collaboration tools.
- Comfort working remotely with strong organisation, time management, accountability, and initiative.
- A genuine commitment to inclusive, customer-centred product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have
- Experience with B2B SaaS, operations-focused software, field service, facility management, workforce management, or cleaning-industry technology.
- Experience presenting software products to prospects or supporting the sales process.
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience with multi-site, mobile workforce, compliance, or proof-of-service platforms.
- Based in Brisbane or surrounding areas. The role is fully remote initially, with an expectation that it may transition to a hybrid working arrangement next year.
